Apple’s I-Phone gets some competition from the catwalk
The Scene:While everyone in the US awaits the summer debut of Apple's I-Phone, the folks at LG have teamed with Prada to create a remarkably similar- maybe even chicer mobile phone that is sweeping fashionistas off their Blackberry's. The sleek, all-black cellphone comes complete with a touch-screen display and dimensions almost identical to the I-Phone. Where the two phones deviate is LG-Prada's obvious incompatibility with Apple's beloved I-Tunes. For those worrying about the phone's compatibility with their favorite Prada bag, on the other hand, it features a 3-inch screen and is just less than half an inch thick. A 2 megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, a music/video player, document reader, and microSD memory slot also make it professionally as well as fashionably substantive. But before you hit your local mobile outlet with $750 (600-Euros) in hand, the phone is only available in Europe and Asia and pretty much everywhere but the United States.
